For more information, call 415-273-5481. Although the Peace Café is not a vegetarian cafe, Vegetarian or Vegan food is available prior to the lecture.

This is a video that was taped at a lecture presented at the World Vegetarian Day 2005. Dr. Barnard is a clinical researcher, author, and health advocate. He is the Founder and President of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He is the author of Breaking the Food Seduction; The Best in the World; Eat Right, Live Longer; Food for Life; and The Power of Your Plate.

This is a good opportunity to bring a friend, socialize, and listen to some important vegan information from a scientific viewpoint.
